Vivo V60 Launching in India: What You Need to Know – Vivo is set to make waves in the Indian smartphone market on 19th August 2025 , when it will launch its highly anticipated smartphone — the Vivo V60 . This device is believed to be a rebranded version of the recently launched Vivo S30 in China , and it will be the first global model to come with Android 16-based OriginOS.

The Vivo V60 features a 6.67-inch flat AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution (1260×2800 pixels) and a 120Hz refresh rate , offering stunning visuals and smooth scrolling for gaming and multimedia. The screen includes an in-display fingerprint scanner for secure unlocking and is protected by durable glass with an IP69 rating — meaning it is well-protected against dust and water, and can survive being submerged in water up to 1.5 meters deep for 30 minutes.


Performance

The Vivo V60 is powered by Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset , paired with the Adreno 720 GPU , delivering excellent performance for multitasking, gaming, and AI-based tasks. The phone could offer up to 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB of UFS 2.2 storage . While UFS 2.2 is slightly slower than UFS 4.0, it still offers fast and smooth performance.
