Powerful performance

This phone has Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset and Adreno 750 GPU, which makes gaming, multitasking and AI-based tasks very fast. It has up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB UFS 4.0 storage, which makes games like Genshin Impact and PUBG Mobile run smoothly up to 120fps. The device doesn’t heat up thanks to the 9,925mm² Dual Cryo-velocity VC cooling system. The benchmark scores – Geekbench single-core 2,214 and multi-core 6,597 – reflect the flagship power.

Advanced camera

The OnePlus 13R features a triple camera setup, with a 50MP Sony LYT-700 main sensor with OIS, which clicks sharp and colourful photos even in low-light. It is accompanied by a 50MP telephoto lens (2x optical zoom) and an 8MP ultrawide lens.

The 16MP front camera is for selfies and 1080p videos. The Dual Exposure feature delivers ultra-clear photos, though it doesn’t have the Hasselblad tuning like the OnePlus 13. Daylight photos are great, but ultrawide shots can have slight colour variations.

Powerful battery and fast charging

The phone packs a 6,000mAh Silicon NanoStack battery that lasts up to two days of normal use and over 13 hours of gaming or video streaming time. With 80W SUPERVOOC charging support, it charges 60% in about 30 minutes. However, it lacks wireless charging, which may matter to some users. The charger is included in the box in India, while in Europe it may have to be purchased separately.

Premium design and connectivity

The OnePlus 13R has a slim and flat design, with an aluminum frame and Gorilla Glass 7i on both sides. It is available in two colors – Astral Trail (silver) and Nebula Noir (black). With an IP65 rating, it is protected against dust and light water, but is not completely waterproof. In India, it supports 5.5G (Jio network), Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4 and NFC. OnePlus’ iconic Alert Slider and stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support further enhance the usability of this device. It has also got an “Excellent” -23.4 LUFS score.

Software and AI Features

The OnePlus 13R comes with OxygenOS 15 based on Android 15, which gives a smooth and bloatware-free experience. It includes smart features like AI Summary, AI Notes, AI Unblur and Magic Compose. The company promises 4 years of OS updates and 6 years of security patches. Features like Glove Mode and in-display fingerprint scanner make it more practical.

Price and Availability

The OnePlus 13R is available in two variants – 12GB/256GB and 16GB/512GB. Its starting price in India is ₹42,999 and $599 globally. It can be purchased from Amazon, OnePlus’ official website and other major retailers. Discounts can also be found in sales like OnePlus Red Rush Days.

Why is OnePlus 13R special

The OnePlus 13R offers flagship-level performance, great display, and long battery life at a mid-range price. Although it lacks wireless charging and Hasselblad tuning, with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, great cooling, and AI features, it emerges as a great option for gamers and tech lovers in 2025.
